The consent of both parties is\nrequired and must be renewed at each stage of the process.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 700;\" class=\"u-text-custom-color-11\">The mediation\nagreement <\/span> is then signed,\ndefining the principles, the process, and the distribution of the mediator\u2019s\nfees.&nbsp;<br>\n            <br>\n            <br>The mediator\nschedules a time to exchange with each party to express their respective needs\nand expectations, understand the context and issues of the dispute. This\npreparatory work takes place via phone conference or in person, strictly\nconfidentially. It is a key step in the implementation of the mediation\nprocess, which aims to prepare the parties to enter mediation.<br>\n            <br>\n            <br> A collective session\nis organized with the parties, their lawyers, or any other third party who may\ncontribute to finding a solution. This meeting takes place in person and is\norchestrated around collective exchanges and side meetings.<br>\n            <br>\n            <br> At the end of the\nmediation, if the parties have reached an agreement, this agreement is\nformalized in writing with the help of the parties\u2019 lawyers. If, on the other\nhand, no agreement is reached, the mediator informs the judge in the context of\njudicial mediation, and the procedure, whose deadlines have been suspended by\nthe mediation, resumes.&nbsp;<br>\n            <br>\n            <br> At the request of the\nparties, the mediation agreement may be subject to a judicial approval\nprocedure, giving the agreement the same enforceability as a judgment. In\npractice, this approach is rare, and the parties who reach an agreement\nspontaneously execute their commitments.
